Title: [Shadowrun] Hong Kong Setting Notes
Post by: Chimera on 27 March, 2011, 22:02:27
These are my setting notes for any one shot Shadowrun games I run.

Initially I am going to dump in the text while I work on the edits as I need to see how it looks and what I need to change.

Ahhh 20,000 character limit I see :) Noted.

I have noticed when trying to select a block of text in a long section - the edit window jumps back to the top. Is this normal? It makes it difficult to select.

I can remove the post limit or set if higher if you think its needed.  As for the jumping I've no idea whats normal for the forum and whats not, though jumping can occasionally be caused by the mouse, try clicking the wheel or whatever though if it continues ill have to check into it. - Loswaith

Hong Kong Crime

Red Dragon Assosiation
Shan Chu (Leader): Hsiao Wai-Gong (Human)
The Red Dragon Triad is the largest of the five triads operating in Hong Kong. This is mostly attributed to the fact that they recently emerged victorious from there long standing, bitter and bloody war with the former Yellow Lotus Triad. It was a costly victory however with the unfortunate loss of their Shan Chu who has been replaced by the former deputy Hsiao Wai-Gong.
The majority of the gang operates out of the Kwai Tsing, influencing large sections of Hong Kongs dockyards. But given their size they have operations all over Hong Kong ranging from extortion to gun-running.

Black Chrysanthemums
The Black Chrysanthemums are a ruthless new arrival to Hong Kong, imported from the neighbouring city of Macao. They moved in during the height of the war between the Red Dragons and the Yellow Lotus and established themselves in some of the worst slums before anyone could stop them. The Black Chrysanthemums call the hellhole know as Kowloon walled city home, and it is a power base they even the police can not oust them from, but it limits their operations the Kowloon City area of Hong Kong. Operations include human trafficking and organ legging.

Ten Thousand Lions
Shan Chu (Leader): Rizal Fei (Ork)
After the Yellow Lotus Triad was wiped from the face of the earth, this small street gang that had once sworn alliance to the Yellow Traid struck out on its own. Its leader Rizal managed to piece together the patchwork of survivors that remained to form the Ten Thousand Lions. Rizal wasn
