Here I will write total XP over all the sessions, as a record in case things get lost.

Feel free to discuss my generosity, complain about how unkind my assessments are, and contribute to the overall chaos. Oh, and spend wisely :)

Obviously, there were some inter character issues last game. Where I have to intervene as a GM I will be marking down XP on both sides of the divide as such things distract me from running the game.

Ultimately games are about having fun, and it is both player and GM responsibility to ensure this occurs.

On splitting the group. All games involve this so I am not saying don't do it, but it is up to the players to control this as equally as it is the GM. Any split has the effect of doubling the time of the game, multiple splits more so. This impacts other players' fun while they have to wait, and stresses the GM :).

Normally this is not a problem, but I see this has potential to become a problem based off the first game so am raising it to attention (4 way split - almost 5). This may have been perceived as info gathering time (which it was for only Marcus and Rhys). But I would highlight that this to me is just talking offline to contacts - anything involving confrontation should involve the whole group.

I will not dilute encounters if the party is split up. 

My key concern is the "Mech pilots don’t get out of the mechs and involved in the action". I don’t just want this game to be about sending in the ground specialist.

To solve this, I suggest you start thinking about your group as a tactical squad, or a small unit infantry squad. If I am told "the mechwarriors lack heavy armour and assault rifles", my response will be, that all you need to be effective is a vest and a gun. This is factored in, and everyone already has these.

Also, if specific side quests are needed, I am available before the game to run them, providing that I have a little warning.

I am just stating this to clear the air, I am sorry if anything I did caused confusion.

For my part - apologies for the 2nd run-off (warehouse). While I did raise my intentions several times, and got the nod from Brunhilde, I should've waited for positive consensus like we did for the first info-gathering. By then... bad things happened, but hardly an excuse.


Now, to business - should we post our advancements in here, for tracking? 2nd question - how long ingame 'downtime' should we expect to raise skills and attributes? While it was always my intention to raised strength with the XP refund, the windfall from fast-learner track is like planting a huge buffet of stuff to raise :D.

Yeah I am thinking it would be best to use the forum for advancement out of session. The only hickup I can think of will be knowing which skills have advancement ticks. But I can most likely just post that up after sessions and maintain a running list.

Brunhilde suggested a Google spreadsheet to track all things character and XP... Will look into it over the weekend.

Can just share that thing, i guess. Doesn't help with skill tagging, but shouldn't be that difficult.

I'll also see what I can do over the weekend. May the best spreadsheet designer win. :P (Also - I may have a headstart, since I can just hijack my character math spreadsheet.)

Ok, sheet done - you should've received mails. I've fillled in most of it, so everyone should be good to go on spending the XP. Use the bright yellow cells - everything else is formulas or results and shouldn't be modified.

Humm. Something's wrong with the math for Marcus and Rhys - in the traits. I think it has to do with the Patrician package, but Simone's are fine, sooo... Chimera, please check.
