Android Tablets
« on: 15 November, 2013, 17:50:44 »
Having just picked up myself a Google Nexus 10 ;), I was thinking about apps for it but have no idea whats good, what of the default ones I can remove, and what ones I should replace with alternatives.  :??:

While asking directly is useful, sharing the information here could make it useful for others as well as myself.

So blast away (:guns:) with the sugestion of apps, games, tweaks or other nifty things that you find useful and think others or myself may find useful as well.

OK...

ezPDF reader - must have. Oh, move the files you use most often to my docs to save the file path load time.

Thumb keyboard - so many options...

Evernote, skitch, Google drive for journeling and sketching needs...

Dictionary.com widget...

I think it has a light and pro version...

I tried a bunch of free ones before I purchased it, I think it's $3. The main thing I found was it seems to use all the tablet memory and pages buffers. Most don't.

Possibly my most used app... So was worth it for me.

Found this one -Radaee PDF viewer

Its stated goal is to load and view PDFs fast, and its free.

Works very well on the battletech PDFs which is nice as they are beastly large files that normally take ages to load.
